The Monash Philharmonic Music Festival (mpmf) is an initiative of the Monash University Philharmonic Society, an entirely student-run music organisation. The mpmf is a full-day music event involving and bringing together many amateur orchestras, wind ensembles, stage bands and choirs from around Melbourne to perform across two venues at Monash University’s Clayton Campus.
The mpmf is now in its fourth year, and its profile within the community is steadily growing. Past headline acts include the Victorian Police Show Band and Ringwood RSL Pipe Band, and we aim to showcase a diverse array of ensembles from the Melbourne metropolitan into the future.
